Terms of Use
Draft. Not reviewed by a lawyer and not legal advice. The owner must check it, and the subscription details must match what is configured in App Store Connect.
Who we are
TailorDish is provided by Gediminas Kaminskas (“we”). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a code we send you. Keep your email account secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Account).
Subscription
- Free trial: new subscribers can try TailorDish free for 7 days. One trial per account. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged. The app can remind you before the trial ends.
- Price: 44.99 a year or 9.99 a month. The App Store shows the price for your country, in your currency, before you subscribe, and it may differ from the amounts above.
- Billing and cancelling: payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your device’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your TailorDish account does not cancel the subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple.
- When the trial or subscription ends you lose access to the app until you subscribe again.
AI allowances and the AI boost
AI features (importing recipes, adapting recipes, the recipe chat, writing steps and detecting equipment) have a monthly allowance. In a paid month the allowance is: 30 imports, 100 adaptations, 300 chat questions, 100 step writings and 100 equipment detections. During the free trial it is smaller: 7, 25, 70, 25 and 25. A reel or video over 2 minutes counts as 10 imports, and writing steps for a complex dish can use 3 step writings. Allowances reset each calendar month (UTC). You can see yours in Profile → AI usage. We may change allowances; the figures are shown in the app.
The AI boost is an optional top-up that adds extra AI uses for the month in which you buy it. Boost credits do not roll over to the next month.
Allergies and food safety
TailorDish helps you check recipes against the allergy list you set, but it can make mistakes. AI-generated and imported recipes can be wrong or incomplete, and ingredients and products change. Always read the labels of the products you use and check every recipe yourself. You are responsible for deciding what is safe for you and the people you cook for. If you have a severe allergy, do not rely on the app alone.
No medical or nutrition advice
TailorDish is not medical, dietary or nutrition advice and does not replace a doctor or dietitian. Any nutrition figures are estimates.
Your content and imported recipes
The recipes you save remain yours. Recipes imported from links or screenshots may belong to their authors; use them for your own cooking. You give us permission to process your content as needed to run the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, try to break or overload it, or use it in ways that break the law.
Availability and changes
We try to keep the app working but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or end features.
Apple
These terms are between you and Gediminas Kaminskas, not Apple.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are to be brought before the Danish courts. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
